Welcome to 2009 and as I thought 2008 was crap! -

Well I have an update for you guys - Alan Martin Studios ~ Alan Martin Photography is rising like the proverbial phoenix, plus, I may just have a new love!!!!!

2008 had been a shit year, two crappy jobs, not enough free time or cash to fling the string or do much photography, other than the ones that helped pay the bills!

So time to dust myself off and get out and about more, to catch up with my mates, it may prove that being single lets me get on with my life, and my interests, but I am not sad or mad about it happening, it may prove to be the better option!

I am looking to do more of (anything) the alt, fetish, tattooed girl, and gothic, retro, pin-up style in the future, and have a goal this year to do a series of rope pictures with a local lass, maybe also a art nude muse over a period of time, in different locations, (more on that later) so if anyone in or passing through Derby or the surrounding area is interested drop me a line.

Also willing to shoot at any location as I have a small portable studio, so if you have a place of your own, cool, I also constantly scout for new and interesting places to shoot. I am open to any ideas you may have and will work with the model to achieve what they are looking for.

If you are Interested in trying or adding fetish to the portfolio? Are you looking for a "different image " for a portfolio, with that in mind, why not give it a go!

Well I take "normal pictures" too!.......glamour, artistic nudes, lingerie, etc ......hopefully with a twist ! Come along with your ideas lets get shooting.

Chaperones can accompany models I have no problems with them coming along they prove great at making coffee etc...Or holding a reflector or just going eeeek! in a corner when I string someone up!!

I missed working with Jon Edge again at "The Night of the Senses" in London running a photo booth for the charity this year, as I was skint, it happen's to us all now and again but what the hell, I will try to be there this year, if invited.
(I bet you thought we were just tipped from one of tuppy's suitcase's did't you)
